Colucci Gianvito

I am an Energy and Nuclear Engineer, currently involved in a PhD program in Energetics (37° cycle) on energy system optimization models (ESOMs), at Politecnico di Torino and in collaboration with Università di Torino. My research activities mainly deal with technological modeling in ESOMs at National and European level. In particular, my work is focused on:

• Development and extension of hydrogen and synfuel value chain modeling
• Maintenance and development of the TEMOA-Italy model instance
• Maintenance and development of the TIMES-Italy model, in collaboration with ENEA
• Maintenance and development of the ETM, in collaboration with EUROfusion
• Joint analysis of energy security and material security issues, in collaboration with RUB. For this activity, I will spend there a period as visiting researcher, from April to September 2023, collaborating with Prof. Dr. Valentin Bertsch.
