Difonzo Rosa

I am an Energy and Nuclear Engineer, currently involved in the 36° cycle of the PhD program in Energetics at Politecnico di Torino. My research activity is mainly focused on the application of Optimization Methods to Computational Fluid Dynamic and Heat Transfer problems, in particular the design of the cooling system of the Gyrotron cavities for nuclear fusion applications. The optimization methods under study are evolutionary algorithms, such as the Biogeography-based optimization algorithm and adjoint topology optimization.
