Mahdhi Jihen

I am a Ph.D. student currently enrolled in the 38° cycle of the Ph.D. program in Energetics at Politecnico di Torino, and I joined the MAHTEP research group in 2023. In my master's program, I focused on studying and optimizing Solar Chimney Power Plant systems with different absorber configurations using Ansys Fluent software. Currently, my research is concentrated both numerically and experimentally on the optimization of novel tubular absorbers for solar parabolic trough collector applications. To achieve this, I utilize CFD software. 

My main research interests include: 

  • Parabolic Trough Solar Collector (PTSC). 
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling.
