Mosso Daniele

I am an Energy and Nuclear Engineer enrolled in the 38th PhD cycle in Energetics at Dipartimento Energia “Galielo Ferraris”, Politecnico di Torino. My research activity, in collaboration with ENI, is focused on the field of Energy System Optimization Models. specifically, the aim is to integrate in those frameworks aspects related to the Water – Energy – Food nexus.

 Some of my activities are:

  • Development of a sustainability metric for the evaluation of energy scenarios. The metric involves the accounting of several sustainability dimensions such as environmental impacts, supply chain security and social aspects.
  • Integration of Land Use aspects in energy system optimization models. This activity involves coupling of geospatial data derived through GIS models inside TEMOA, an open source ESOM.
