Quamori Tanzi Alessio

I am an Energy and Nuclear Engineer enrolled in the 39th PhD cycle in Energetics at Dipartimento Energia “Galielo Ferraris”, Politecnico di Torino. In 2023 I spent three months at the Max Planck Institute in Greifswald (Germany) where I pursued my master thesis on W7-X divertor cooling.

My research mainly focuses on the employment and study of Triply Periodic Minimal Surfaces for enhanced heat removal. I’m currently working on design and optimization of Triply Periodic Minimal Surfaces as heat sinks and heat exchangers for the cooling of high heat-flux components in fusion reactors in collaboration with ENI S.P.A.
