Lerede Daniele

I am an Energy and Nuclear Engineer and I defended my PhD thesis “Development of TEMOA-Europe: an open-source and open-data energy system optimization model for the analysis of the European energy mix” in March 2023. I am currently a Research Fellow at University of Turin in the framework of the Italian PNRR-funded project “Energy system optimization models for the analysis of greenhouse gases emissions and the Italian energy-intensive sectors". My research activity deals with energy system optimization modeling at the national (Italian) and European level, with a particular focus on:

  • Development and maintenance of the open-software and open-data model TEMOA-Europe
  • Maintenance of the EUROfusion TIMES Model

Models for technology adoption.
